A little about me:
I have always had a competitive edge growing up as a twin and the youngest of five in an athletic family. I was a competitive gymnast for 13 years which further instilled my motivation, discipline, and perseverance to reach beyond my limitations.
It wasn’t until I moved to the Jersey Shore 10 years ago that I was first introduced to triathlons and really found my passion
My first race was Ms. T’s Olympic distance in Chicago through Team & Training. I had a blast! Just like most of us-- once we do one race, we are hooked and continue to find races that constantly challenge us both physically and mentally.
This race led to half ironman races (Eagleman 2001-2009; Timberman 2005-2007, St. Croix 2007; and Clearwater half ironman world championship 2006 & 2007.
I have since competed in 6 ironmans—Lake Placid 2004-2008. But my highlight was finally earning a spot at the Kona, HI World Championship, 2008! I took 2009 off and have the bug again and plan to race in the 2010 Canada Ironman.
My other favorite things to do include Trail running (age group award in Pikes Peak Ascent) marathons, ultra running, mountain biking, adventure racing, snowboarding, and destination hiking around the country— but, my all time favorite place and annual tradition is hiking locally at beautiful Mt. Washington every 4th of July… no coincidence that I got engaged there and have wedding plans this summer 2010 at the Mt. Washington hotel.
I believe we are made to go far beyond what we imagine is possible for ourselves, and it is our gift and duty as human beings to condition our minds so we break every conceivable limitation we have and change the world.
I am very excited to be a part of this top-notch team to help create a community and platform that will revolutionize the racing world!
